BETTER OFF DEAD

Remember the cult movie where the newspaper boy was consistently pestering John Cusack for his $2? I now feel like the little boy in our attempt to get our money back. Our journey with this company started back in August when we place an order for a product found on their website. The response back from them in September after numerous phone calls was that the item has been “discontinued”. We contacted the company again in early October and received the usual “customer service”. Upon our contact again in mid October we received a lame story of a pending merger with an investment firm causing a slow down. In November we received the “thank you for your patience” letter and “we’ll get right on it” from the “Overnight response Team”. The first week of December we were notified that it was getting shipped directly to the accounting department and that we should allow 3 to 5 days for the credit to show. OK, so riddle me this batman… if the company can take my money from my credit card in one thousandth of a second electronically, why does it take more than five months to NOT issue the credit. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
