My first purchase was for a cushion for a Convert-A-Bench. The cushion arrived in a box with no plastic cover on it. Had a lot of lint/box debris on fabric. Also, there was a small tear on top of cushion that was sewn over by a sewing machine. This product had to be a factory second. I will not repeat this purchase again. I will buy directly from the Convert-A-Bench company. I did contact Customer Service and didn't want to return it since it would cost me additional shipping. I was given an email coupon for 20% off next purchase from Customer Service.

Ordered 2 of same item 11/23 with est delivery date of 12/19. One arrived first week of Dec. Second has not. Date keeps changing, now 1/09/2008. Item continues to show "in stock." Obviously it is not. No one in authority can be contacted. No physical address, no ownership disclosure, no email address, no phone number. Customer service personnel not authorized to give any of this information. Closed loop system. No resolution possible. Who are these people that have my credit card number? Gives me serious concerns about e-commerce.

My experience with Home Visions exhibited appalling customer service. I ordered four sets of dishes as a Christmas gift in early November. I received them shortly after, but five pieces were broken. I called, and was told they would send replacements and a mailing label to return the broken pieces to them. I received two of the five replacement pieces. When I called back, I was told again that I would receive the additional replacement pieces and a mailing label. Two days later, they called to tell me that they would not send replacement pieces, and that I had to send back the entire set. I will not have the pieces by Christmas, which means that a gift I ordered nearly two months before Christmas will be incomplete. Who knows when and if the new set will arrive unbroken!! Finally, the supervisor I spoke to was arrogant and not at all apologetic. I will NEVER order from this company again, and suggest finding merchandise elsewhere. The hassle is ridiculous.

The item ordered is not the best quality. Although it came sooner than expected & in good shape, the back piece for the corner bookcase was wrong color. when contacting customer service on line, their response was quick & they immediately sent what they thought was the correct item, but color was correct, but item not right size, too short & wide. Rather than contact them again & try to get it corrected, just cut pieces up to make work inside back of cases with shelves holding in place. It took some time & fanangling but looks ok, will do for now.

When I received my order it was short by two pillow shams. I notified them immediately and was told I would hear back in 48 hours. 48 hours later, they left me a message me to tell me that they show I signed for the order. I called them back and talked to a supervisor. I told him that I had, but repeated the shams were missing. He said they would get back to me in 48 hours and I told him to cancel the shams altogether and issue me a credit. He told me they couldn't issue me a credit because they didn't know where the shams were. I then e-mailed the Homevision customer service and told them the only acceptable solution to me would be for them to cancel the shams and credit my account. I never received a response to my e-mail. A few days later I called and talked to customer service and pretty much nothing had been done. This time I was told it would take them 2 WEEKS before they could tell me where the shams were. I repeated for the third time that I no longer wanted the shams, just a credit for them. I then contacted the Better Business Bureau about Homevisions. Homevisions has a terrible history with the Better Business Bureau and I recommend anyone thinking of buying anything from them look through the BBB reports first. About a week later Homevisions called me to tell me the shams had been re-shipped to me. I told the caller that I had asked 3 times that the shams be cancelled and I be credited for the amount. I was told that no one had ever given those messages to the correct parties. Please keep in mind that I talked with a supervisor at one point and e-mailed them this request at another point in time. I did finally receive the shams and a phone call apologizing for the entire mess along with an offer of either sending the shams back for a credit or receiving a 20% credit for the entire order. I took the 20% credit only because I didn't want to have anything more to do with Homevisions. I am sure if I had sent back the shams, they would have ever denied receiving them. I cannot stress strongly enough that I would avoid this merchant at ALL COSTS!!!!!

Product arrived in two boxes - one had the Avila chairs, the other had a different table. Started putting together the chairs, but when I called to inquire on how best to return table, they said both boxes should be returned. UPS is picking up the boxes, which will be a hassle, because they rarely come when I'm home.
Also, the item was on backorder, so I had to wait for several weeks to get it, and now it's not what I ordered. Had I known all this, I would've ordered from Stacks & Stacks, which had the same product.
Home Visions has a better website, so that's why I ordered from them.

After reading the online reviews, I was a bit hesitant to place an order with HomeVisions.com. So I went ahead and e-mailed the website to check on the status of the Reclining, Rocker, Massaging Chair and they replied within 24 hours to let me know it was in stock. I went ahead and placed the order, in which I saw the estimated shipping date to be in 3 weeks. A few days later I received a shipping notification and receive the chair in excellent condition within one week of placing the order. Overall excellent transaction, would buy from again!

Ordered a small door mat through HV. Website indicated it was instock. It took a phone call from me and a cancel request to get my order moving. I feel it's unacceptable to take 2 weeks to ship an instock item. Furthermore, I find it ironic that after my phone call and cancellation request that the item was then *shipped.* Most likely will not do business w/this merchant again. I can receive the exact same product from other vendors much faster and at the same price.

I ordered a personalized embroidered throw. I needed it as a gift for an upcoming party. I was worried I would not receive the item in time, so although they could not promise me a date, they said they would keep me informed along the way. I received the throw a week sooner than expected, and it is beautiful. Customer service emailed me twice to keep me informed of the status of my order. How often does that happen?
I am very pleased and a little confused about the other negative comments. Every aspect of my order was positive. |
