This was a horrible experience. I placed my first order with this company on the 15th of September. Since my order was large and they offer one free item with purchases over $75 bucks, I split my order in half so I'd get two polishes instead of one. So far everything was fine. My items seemed to be in stock (I got no notice that they weren't) and the website didn't look shifty. I hit Submit... and that's where the problems began.

Upon submitting my order I was given this message by my browser:

This site is using an outdated encryption method currently classified as insecure. It cannot sufficiently protect sensitive data. Do you wish to continue?

(here it mentions clixgalore.com, then...)

- The server is using a short public encryption key, which is considered insecure.

This worried me. I've been an online shopper for years now and have never gotten this message before. So I sent customer service this e-mail the next day:

Hello! I just placed my first order with you. I hit the button to confirm the order and send it to you, and the page changed to show that the order had been sent successfully. However, my browser gave me a warning saying:

They didn't reply. On September 18th I hadn't received any kind of contact from the company aside from the automated receipt sent to me on the 15th. I thought I'd get a shipping notification e-mail that day but I didn't, so that night I e-mailed customer service to find out what was going on. I got a reply the next day telling me that the products I'd ordered were on backorder until the 21st. They said they would ship the order on the 22nd.

On the 22nd I went to the website to check the status of my orders. Both orders said "Shipped as of 9/21/06". I thought things were finally looking up. Goody, since I needed the products I'd ordered by the first of October.

Five days later on the 26th I still didn't have my orders. I called customer service three times and got their answering machine. I e-mailed customer service and asked if there was a problem. I told them the order status page said that my orders had been shipped on the 21st. I pointed out that their shipping page says that estimated delivery time is 2-3 days.

On the 27th they replied that my orders would be shipping out today, on the 27th.

What? The order status page said that my orders were shipped on the 21st! I assumed that meant "shipped to the customer" but it seems I was wrong. Upon re-reading the "Order Processing & Shipping" I saw that they did say that "Shipped" means they have receieved your items. But still.

On the 28th I got two shipping confirmation e-mails complete with tracking information for two packages. I got my orders -- both of them in the same box, oddly enough -- on the 30th of September. But the trouble wasn't over yet! Upon opening the box I was greeted with the nasty-ish smell of my molasses purifier. It turns out that there was something wrong with the bottle. The cap was on tight but a little less than half the bottle had spilled. Everything in the box was covered with strong-smelling brown goo. Near the bottom of the box another product had spilled, but not as much as the purifier. So I got to work and began washing off the bottles.

Everything was fine after that. The products I ordered are the real thing as far as I can tell. But my experience with this company was the worst shopping experience I've ever had. The bottles were just dumped in the box and surrounded with packing peanuts. Their customer service is not what I'd call "customer service". If you want info about your order you're going to have to contact them 'cause they sure aren't going to contact you. And forget about calling; from what other people have said, this company never answer thier phone. EVER.

Some of the products I bought were a few dollars cheaper than other places. And this place gives you a free item (worth $6) when you spend more than $75. They also give free standard shipping on orders over $50. I guess those are deals since no one else I buy from gives free shipping or free items... but these small perks do not make up for all the headache you're going to get when you deal with these people. I suggest you shop elsewhere. You may have to spend more money, but at least you'll get your order in less than 15 days.
