I have ordered from Fog Dog in the past, receiving my orders with no problems. I find it hard to complain about their product selection, prices and abundant sale prices going on often.
However, I ordered some track pants at the end of November. After waiting longer than usual, I tried tracking my package, which said it had been delivered on December 1st. Problem was I never got it. Neighbors? Nope.....Under a tree? Nope. Postal car driver? She had never seen a package that was supposedly delivered by the USPS. So, after contacting them various time via email, using their "contact us" link and getting nowhere. I called, and spoke with a customer service representative. All he could provide was they would do a trace on it, and it might take up to two weeks.
Well, here we are in January, and I have heard nothing. Funny how they're quick to send special offers to my email, but no soap on the order I paid in full for.
Despite their selection, and random and liberal sales, I will no longer buy anything directly from Fog Dog, nor will I consiously purchase from their affiliates. I also intend to complain to the Better Business Bureau. Do I actually think Fog Dog is a scam? Absolutely not, but bad customer service and a complete disregard for my problem, despite having been a long time customer is unacceptable. Especially in this economy.
Apparently the fog is a bit too thick, as Fog Dog seems unable to recognize the significance at least trying to help a customer. Since they don't care, then I guess I don't care to shop with them, but I do care to tell people who also shop for clothes online like I do. I've been polite and courteous, and very patient.
Keep the pants, Fog Dog. And keep your customers. I'm no longer one of them!
