I bought a Sony Notebook from them a couple weeks back. The requirements for a credit card purchase made me feel more comfortable here than at any other online retailer. The Notebook came on time to my house, it WAS double boxed, and in perfect condition. I will definitely come back and would recommend a friend to their site without hesitation.

Ordered my Laptop from Ecomelectronics on the Dec 31, 2006. Laptop arrived 9th of Jan. Timely delivery and laptop is great. Problem is, it was the WORST online experience to date for me and I purchase on the internet constantly. NEVER received tracking information, never had any of my emails returned, never had phone calls returned. Laptop just showed up one day. I spent several days battling with company reps that emphatically suggested I upgrade to another laptop because the one I wanted would be a "dirty laptop that toshiba would slap together". I was on the verge of cancelling my order when it finally arrived. I love the laptop and do not regret purchasing it. I just wished I'd bought it somewhere else. Horrible customer service.

A great experience! What I was purchasing was not readily available and I had never used Ecom before so called customer service to make sure they actually had one in stock. Customer Service was great and friendly. From that point forward the experience was perfect and flawless. Excellent order tracking. Product arrived on time, as stated and at the price quoted.

This merchant had the Apple Mac Book advertised in stock, and shipped it VERY quickly. A real advantage to this merchant is their inexpensive and most often free shipping.

So far everything was easy to follow and I didn't have any problem other then the additional ram I asked them to install on the note book for me was defective and had to go back for replacement which was very fast in turn around. The note book is now working perfectly, they did a great job.

Ordered a 17" MacBook Pro from this vendor and after calling them to complete the required verification and agreed to getting the optional 3yr laptop warranty I was really looking forward to getting this item. The laptop was delivered while I was away over Xmas-New Years. When I got home and opened the box I found that the original tape that sealed the laptop box was gone and replaced with a clear packaging tape. On the site they clearly state that the item they are selling is "Apple - MACBOOK PRO *New with Apple warranty*" and not a "refurbished item.

I wrote them an email to see why I was shipped basically a refurbished item as "factory new".

Called & spoke to Allen. He said that he wished I'd given them a chance to correct the error b4 I posted this review, but authorized me to ship back the laptop via next day air, so they can express ship a new one back. Mistakes happen, but their willingness to correct it also speaks volume about their quality customer service.

Pro: Lowest price, prompt shipping, great customer service.

Con: Item shipped was previously opened and resealed with packaging tape.

eCom's website is easy to navigate and the merchandise seems to be of top quality. I will most likely place a second order with them very soon. Shipping was great. I really loved the easy order tracking that came via email. My package came early in the morning before I was up, and when I went to see where my package was the tracking said "front door." So cool.

I found ecomElectronices through shopping.com. They offered a good price and the service was excellent. Jeff called within 30 minutes to verify my credit card, discuss the order and upgrade and special features available to me. I was calling at 1:10p.m.PST on 12/21/06 and of course wanted the product for Christmas. Jeff helped make that happen; the configuration was accurate and UPS delivered next day without a problem.

Website was easy to navigate and found everything easily. The Laptop I ordered was a great deal and it came within 3 days of ordering. Great service and a great deal. Can't ask for much better than that. The only negative issue I have is with UPS. They just left the box at my front door, no signature required and anyone could have picked it up. Thank goodness my room mate was home and discovered the box before anyone else did. If he had been at work, there's no telling what might have happened.

Good price. They had to call to get my security number off my credit card since the site didn't have one. During the call tried to offer me more deals. During the weekend, received another call about the same thing from another person. Apparently was not noted in my account. Got it straightened out but still had to go through another round of discount offers. After that though, it got shipped quickly and arrived quickly even with using UPS ground the week before Christmas.

I was a little nervous to make a major purchase on line but everything went perfectly. Great website that's easy and intuitive to navigate. They had everything I was looking for, along with very competitive prices. Ordered online Sunday. I was a little concerned about buying a laptop and having it shipped all the way across the country BUT... The order was hassle free, price was what was promised, no upselling, shipping was easy to track and it arrived when promised and in perfect condition. EcomElectronics really worked with me to give the best price possible on a MacBook Pro; I did a lot of comparison shopping and they had the best price. The computer was shipped in a timely fashion. I also purchased an additional 3 year warranty which was included in the box with the computer. Somehow I missed the warranty which was buried in the foam peanuts. I wasn't worried, assuming the warranty would be shipped later (as had been my experience with a different company in February). When I called EcomElectronics back to find out when the warranty would be shipped I found out they had sent it with the computer. However, they immediately rectified the situation, cancelled my previous warranty, and sent out a new warranty. I had nothing but the best experience with this team and would purchase from them again.

Not as ordered, specifically asked for a 1 gig ram card and second slot left empty, instead laptop has two 512 meg slots, making it harder and more expensive to upgrade.

Did not send copy of invoice.

I received a call back from ecom very quickly after ordering on-line. The staff had a few questions for security matters to assure my card was being used by me, which I appreciated.
