Everything was fine with the purchase. I unfortunatly ordered the wrong size on 2 items and had to exchange them. I have yet to recieve the new items, but it has only been a week. I spoke with someone from customer service on 4-6-09 and they said it can take 2 to 3 weeks on exchanges.

They are not to be trusted.  Ordered shoes that were on backorder and they would not ship for 5 more days. My son found the shoes at a local mall, I called Eastbay within 24 hours of placing order to cancel and the rep would not cancel order. I was told shoes arrived early, even with the exact size I needed, (I had ordered 1/2 size up-my only option at the time). Explained I did not need shoes anymore, rep would still not cancel, said order was already being processed.  I would have to return the shoes after receiving, pay for shipping then wait for up to two months for a credit to be applied to my credit card.  I sensed she was not truthful on the order status so I called back in 2 days to try and cancel again. I had different, new, rep and the order was cancelled due to 'product not available'.  Obviously, 1st rep lied about everything.  Glad I called back and tried again.

Had to send the Nike shoes back because they were advertised to be contructed of leather, but they were instead all vinyl. Should check product description to insure the information is correct before advertising on the internet.

Purchased item with known back-order date. Back-order date was extended an additional two weeks, three more times, with item being shipped within the last time period. Communication was excellent as I was always updated with new dates and notified when item finally shipped. I was in no hurry for the item so was not uncomfortable with the delay or how it was handled. I have purchased from Eastbay in the past and would definitely do so again.
