We were looking to refinance our car and came across e-loan. I sent in the app and within an hour it said we were approved and that someone would be calling us to confirm everything, easy so far!I received several calls on my cell phone during work but none of them left messages so I assumed they were solicitors and didn't think twice about it.

Then, another day passed and I had yet to get a phone call from eloan. I tried to log into my account but it couldn't find me. I finally called them and they said someone tried to call and I explained that no one left a message. They said that was fine and thanks for calling. I was a little upset at that, leave a message if you are going to loan me money!

After that incident it went pretty smoothly. I was a little worried about them getting the payoff quote because they are the first company I've dealt with where they get the payoff quote, every other place was I get it and give to to whoever is doing the refinancing.

The packet came within 7 days as expected, you can get it overnighted but didn't see the need to spend the extra money. The packet contained very simple instructions, the check and a checklist of what I would need to do. I sent everything in and everything got back to them within a week and our car was funded the day they said it would be.

I think their customer service is lacking, I got a call a couple days ago asking about a document that needed to be sent eventhough I know I sent it in. After several phone calls they found it.
