oJNCE THE COMPUTER ARRIVED, MY HUSBAND HAD A HARD TIME WITH SET UP AND WAS PASSED BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN DELL (A PERSON HE COULD BARELY UNDERSTAND) AND MICROSOFT AND IN THE END i BELIEVE I WENT TO STAPLES AND PURCHASED AN UNNECESSARY SOFTWARE BECAUSE THE AGENT WAS UNHELPFUL AND ACTUALLY INCORRECT. YOUR CALL CENTER IS UNACCEPTABLE.

Bought an XB0x360 Elite system for my son for Christmas. Shopped a few days before Black-Friday to avoid the madness. The price was the same as the advertised Black-Friday price and delivery took place as promised. The merchandise was new and unopened --- much like you would buy at the Target. All in all this was a hassel-free experience --- a win - win for me all the way around.

About a month ago I tried to order ink for my printer. Their system apparently would not accept the charge from my account. After another week I tried to order again and this time the order was accepted. A few days later I received an order dated 11/13/09. About two weeks later I received an order dated 11/21/09. I was only aware of the order that was actually placed two weeks ago.

Dell Technical Support was extremely difficult, incredibly time-consuming and very convuluted. The language barrier was somewhat limiting but their following a script was much more prohibitive.
Rest assurredly, I will NEVER buy Dell products again.

The deals that Dell had were great & I ended up spending considerably less than I had expected. The entire process of creating my custom system and then going through the actual purchase process was pleasantly short. The shopping experience was very easy. We made our purchase at 3:00 pm., 11/19. We received an immediate confirmation e-mail along with a delivery date of 11/24. When we came home on Friday, 11/20, there was a note from FedEx saying they'd attempted delivery at 10:55 a.m. It was our Dell purchase. Dell had sent a second e-mail the evening of the 19th telling us the laptop was being overnighted, something we did not request or expect, they said it was part of their current promotion. We didn't see that e-mail until the evening of the 20th. It would have been nice if they had required a confirmation that the e-mail was received in timely fashion and followed up with a phone call if it wasn't. We could have arranged for someone to be here on the 20th instead of having the purchase wandering around in a FedEx truck and back into a warehouse for three days.

I ordered the Dell latop special of the year October 15th and I am still waiting for it. I get the email every 7th day saying they backordered it and federal law requires them to notify me 24 hours before they cancel the order, if I still want it to call in. WTF is going on. I am tempted to buy another laptop, keep saying yes until they decide to ship it. After they pay the shipping, return it with a 'steaming' present on top of it. What a crock, I honestly believe they advertised the $499 laptop with intentions to not deliver to all orders. Please speak up if this is happening to you, as their may be a class action, or simple violation of advertising law here.

Truly superb customer sales service; the salesman went the extra mile to make sure that I received both the rebate offered and the free shipping, so that I would make my purchase at Dell, rather than at NewEgg.
It was only a $5 difference at the end of the day, but the effort expended to make sure I purchased from Dell, made the difference.

I have a computer that is currently still under warranty. I was on hold 3 times for over 1 hour trying to reach someone at Dell that could assist me. Each time I was disconnected with the person I was talking with. The service you give on the phone is absolutely horrible - I will never use Dell again.
I have not received the order I placed so I do not know if it is the correct item or not. You however have received payment for it.

There was a $35.00 price discrepency that still has not been resolved. It was easy to order but trying to fix the problem is next to impossible. It has left me with a sense of distrust with Dell and would not order on-line with them again even though as a company we are evaluating all of our computer needs currently.

I would shop here because my employer has arranged discount pricing. Had to make 2 phone calls & I thought order was being processed. Never got a confirmation email. Went to site today to check on order. Order is in production. Still no email confirmation. The credit card I used has a daily limit. I had bank increase the limit twice. Hope they honor it when Dell tries to withdraw my payment.

I did not recieve the item at the advertised price. The on-line process did not honor the price because I was using a pre-paid credit/debit card. I called and was told I could use an on-line coupon that would give me almost as good a price. I then went through the order process on the phone with the coupon, and was told I could not use the coupon as it "expired 4 days ago." As the first person I talked with guaranteed me the coupon price, I asked to talk with the phone clerk's supervisor. The clerk became defensive and argumentative and tried to keep me from talking to the supervisor. I had to say "I want to talk to your supervisor" at least 4 times before being connected. The supervisor was polite and took care of the problem. I wound up paying about $10.00 more than the advertised price, and the behavior of the phone clerk was unacceptable. I also had some problems dealing with the language barrier.

In order to change the credit card used the Live Chat was absolutely useless and very slow. Having then to call in I was hung up on my first time and then transferred to three different people, all who required all my information prior to telling me I needed to be somewhere else...I was so frustrated by the end of the hour and a half on the phone with Dell and so unimpressed with their service that I cancelled the order. The person who took the cancellation was chewing gum in my ear and cared less that I had a horrible experience. Your customer service absolutely sucks and sadly I really wanted the computer I ordered and am now left trying to figure out what else to do...but giving my money to a company who's people are either inept or uncaring is too unbearable.

It has always been good. I made the mistake about six months ago when I saw this sign outside Walgreen's advertising cheap/same quality ink as anyone else which of course brings back the memormy to you whether it is free, cheap, putting someone else down or seems to good to be true you should listen to that voice in your head telling you they are lying and you know it.It always seems to happen at a time when you can't afford the one you know you should be getting/ so, let's just say I will be keeping in mind in the future for sure the hassles I went through behind the cheap one even though when all was said and done it cost more. They refilled my cartriges. I loaded them. The ink ran all over my printer. It was a nightmare. So it's Dell for me. I don't care what any-other company promises I've learned my lesson. Thanks, from one of your very satisfied customers. Although I don't like being called a consumer (which is so impersonl) and would like it if you came up with a better way to communicate with the people that shop and buy from you. The other day I saw a commercial and told my husband how disgusting it was. It showed a boy giving a cough drop or candy to his friends Mother. When his friend and her husband walked in and saw that the cough drop made them pucker their lips (which implied some sort of immoral behavor)the first thing I told him was we would not be buying those cough drops anytime. Customer no-service was the most painful shopping experience I have ever had. I got cold-transferred 6 times in one call, and had to re-verify my identity every time. Even when I complained about it, and asked for a conference instead of a transfer, the rep said she would do it and then cold-transferred me anyway.

The wrong part was shipped. Credit to Dell for not requiring I send it back, but I also called sales support.. sent an image email of the part I needed.. got disconnected while the sales guy checked the image and checked parts stock.. and somehow there is no trace of my calling in and someone else wants me to start the whole painful process again. The fact that Dell made a card that requires a special product that can't be bought in regular stores is piss poor. The government should tax the hell out of Dell for outsourcing sales/support/etc to India. I will NEVER EVER purchase a Dell product nor will I recommend others do so.
