I shop DeepDiscount.com because of the low prices, but they need to be better about stating an estimated delivery date. This is the second time I've ordered this year and both orders took longer than their standard 5 - 10 business days to arrive at my house. I still haven't received it.

I was not aware that the book I purchased would be on back order for an "unknown" number of days, which could have been up to a month. That information is not something that I learned upon purchase. I learned the information when I placed a call to customer service. I cancelled the order.

I did not find out that one item was backordered until the order was already placed. That might have made me rethink my decision to order from this merchant as another merchant had a slightly lower price on both items (but charged a shipping fee that made the order about $3 more than this merchant). I would have both items now if I ordered from the other merchant as I could easily see that it was in stock there (and have ordered from the other merchant before).

i do not think having my credit card billed for this item that seems now not to be in stock with no clear idea when they will have it back in stock.the generic e-mail sent to me telling me after i placed my order that they were temporary out of stock and then my credit card was charged,even though my purchase was under $20.00 i guess i will have to continue to wait.

When I placed the order, the site said it was in stock. Two business days later it still hadn't shipped out, so I checked the status online, and it said backordered. I didn't see a phone number, so I emailed my cancellation and ordered the book from an alternate website. I received an email the next day stating that the order could not be cancelled because it was scheduled to ship. I have since received the book from the alternate company and have yet to receive the one from DeepDiscount. The alternate company was also 30% less.

I cannot really answer this survey because my orders have to go through Customs, which can take several days and even a few weeks. Neither I nor Deep Discount have control over this process. All I can say is that my orders are usually shipped within a couple of days of ordering if the items are in stock. But after that it's all dependent upon how quickly the orders can clear Customs.

This was my second purchase and I only had one minor problem. The case to one of the DVD's came broken (most likely through mail handling) but the DVD was not harmed, so it was no big deal--and no need to return it as the case is easily replaceable.
I also received the DVD's several days before the estimated time of arrival. Also excellent with Deep Discount is that they ship virtually the day after the order is placed!
Deep Discount's prices are the lowest I've seen and the free shipping makes the purcase an even better bargain. Will definitely purcahse from them again when I see something that I want.
