Will NOT honor price guarantees - AVOID!

Another price guarantee ripoff story - I bought a camera for $449.99 and had a GEICO Privileges "coupon" for 10% off. Two weeks later the camera ia $399.99 at Circuit City and you'd think I'd be eligible for $50 back on the price guarantee.

The problem is that they wanted to see the coupon AGAIN. The GEICO Privileges "coupon" was not a coupon at all but required you to go through their website and click on Circuit City.com to get the coupon code during your checkout - the coupon code is replaced by "******" in the checkout window so you can't even see what it is.

Circuit City (my local store where I picked up the merchandise) refuses to give me $50 back since I already got $45 as a 10% discount 2 weeks ago. They asked me to show them the coupon. I told them it's not a physical coupon but an online coupon that cannot be "printed" as it requires going through their website to do it. They said there's nothing they can do. This was a 22-year-old kid telling me he was the highest level manager at the store and was setting policy.

I will never shop online at circuitcity.com again!
