As other people have said, delivery time is awful.
I placed an order on January 3rd -- today, April 20th, it finally gets here. After various phone conversations while I waited, it seems that they don't have any control over their stock -- we ordered a 5.5qt Le Creuset pot, and what Caplan-Duval then does is, basically, nothing. They wait for random stuff to come in from Le Creuset, and if it happens to contain what a customer has ordered, great -- if not, customers can keep waiting.
This is why they have no idea when they can fulfill orders, because they don't order from their stockists based on customers -- as other people have said, I got an email saying "14-18 days" at ordering time, then various phone conversations saying "we'll get a Le Creuset shipment in at the end of the month".
However, none of those shipments contained what I'd ordered..
Also, customer service wise, the best bet is to call on Saturday -- otherwise, I'd call, someone would take my number and "get back to me with more info", and nothing happened. The person who's there on Saturdays actually did get back to me.
To be fair, when they did finally ship things, it got from them to me in four days, and the pot was in perfect shape -- but if I'd known it would take four and a half months to do so, I'd have thought twice about ordering.
