Buydig offered a Celestron CPC 1100 telescope at an approximate 10% discount off the nationally advertised price. Their web page ad listed the mfr's model number which includes a tripod. (I had researched this telescope for months and knew exactly what was included). I placed my order and received the telescope without the tripod. The telescope box was stamped "Box 1 of 2". Subsequent calls and emails to Buydig informed me that the telescope does not come with a "free" tripod. After many calls I finally found a customer service rep. who promises that I will get the tripod. I told her that Buydig's current ad for a similar telescope lists the tripod as an included item. It's been over 3 weeks and I still don't have the included tripod. This is clearly wrong on several fronts including false advertising, dishonesty, bait and switch, etc. It's kind of like buying a car and discovering there are no tires. Oh, you want the tires too? That'll cost you $$ more. In all my years of on-line purchases, this is the absolute worst experience. I will NEVER buy from Buydig again and have advised everyone I know to stay away from them.
