I do not blame the merchant for the delay in shipment. These things are sometimes unavoidable. What I do fault the merchant for is charging my account weeks before the item shipped. This is unacceptable and not the practice of other online merchants I have dealt with. For this reason, I would not shop with this merchant again.

I placed my order on 4/7/06 and my credit card was billed shortly thereafter. On 4/11/06 I received an e-mail explaining that the merchandise is back-ordered and they were expecting a shipment over the next 7-10 business days. On 4/27/06 I placed a phone call to customer service asking about my merchandise and received a curt reply stating that they expected the order during the week of 5/1/06 and they would ship it to me when they received it.
Other merchants that I have done business with on-line did not bill my credit card until my order was shipped. Therefore, I will not do anymore business with this store.

I PURCHASED THE WRONG SIZE OF CURTAINS. I DID NOT REALIZE IT WAS A FINAL SALE. SO NOW A GENTLEMAN NAMED MIKE EMAILS ME THAT HE WILL ACCEPT THE RETURN AT A 50% COST. SO NOW I AM STUCK WITH CURTAINS THAT DON'T FIT OR A LOSS OF MONEY AT 50% RESTOCK FEE. I THINK THAT IS TERRIBLE I COULD SEE A 25% RESTOCK BUT 50% IS OUTRAGEOUS.

This store advertised a quilt for purchase that they no longer carry. I made the purchase, only to wait and wonder about the delay in delivery. Upon investigating, I found that this item is no longer available. This store STILL has this item displayed on their website as available for purchase. I will no longer use them.

They told me my order would be here in 4 to 7 days and its been almost a month. They finally sent half my order and the other will be arriving in 1 to 2 weeks which is awful. I placed an order in January for this lamp. I havent received it to date. I had to call Customer service several times to find out the item is on backorder and will not ship until mid March. My account was charged immediately but I was not advised that there was going to be a 2 month delay in shipment until I hunt down the customer service dept by phone. I dont think I will order from this store again. Poor service and communication with the consumer.

I might try this merchant again depending on when and if I receive my 3rd pad. It took about a month to get 2 of my pads and the merchant did not let me know it was on back order. When I did contact the merchant, they were good about replying back promptly. I just can't understand why my order was not complete and with no explanation. These pads were sent directly from the manufacturer.

I had to return the curtain liner for the wrong color. I will never order from here again. Returning anything cost me too much time and trouble. I have never heard of having to be charged a restock fee! I can't believe the pages of instructions to return an item. You better get out of the business now.

Good selection and prices. Received the items fairly quickly. The only thing I didn't like was that after my order the automated correspondence I received said my item would be shipped in 1 to 2 weeks, however I received it in about 5 days. I was very happy to receive it early, however I would have liked a better estimate of when to expect it. Otherwise a pleasant buying experience.

Ordered items on Dec 13th as Christmas gifts. Payment was taken, but no shipping status was displayed, other than the generic "4-7 days". After more than a week, when the same status was still showing, I emailed customer service. I shortly received a reply indicating that they were looking into the status. Subsequent to that, I received a status update indicating that the item was no longer available! This was more than a week after I had placed my order, and more than a week since they had taken the payment from my bank card. It was also now only 2 days until Christmas, and I had no gifts. Their explanation was that the item ships directly from the manufacturer...my problem is that they need to stay on top of their vendors and to make sure that if an item is available to order on their website, then they have a sufficient supply to fulfill any orders. I was very unhappy with this shopping experience and will not shop with them again, nor will I recommend that any of my friends and family do so either.

I ordered 2 sets of swags and 2 valances. When I did recieve my order, both sets of swags was for the left side of the window (4 pieces, all for the same side of the window) I put them up anyway, theres just one thats backwards on each window. I figured it was better than trying to go through all the red tape to return them. This was the first purchase I had ever made online, I was very excited, it was so easy I had planned on doing a couple of more rooms with curtains from this company. I ordered 2 curtains from Bed Bath Store at 2 different times. The 1st curtain came timely and I received various e-mails updating my order. I was so happy w/ the service that I order a 2nd curtain. I received confimation that I ordered it right away but after that.....nothing. After 8 days, I sent an e-mail asking about my order since nothing showed up with the UPS tracking. I didn't receive a reply so I sent a second e-mail where I was finally told that the curtain is no longer available. I beleive that it shouldn't have taken 9 days to tell me that and I am very disapointed in the service

I placed my order on 11/01/05. The e-mailed response gave an order number and link to track the order. When the package had not arrived by mid November, I tried to track the order - unsuccessfully. I tried to telephone using the toll free and regular phone numbers. In each (of more than half a dozen) calls I was cut off after responding to various prompts. On 11/16/05 I finally sent an e-mail of complaint. I received a response 11/18/05 indicating the items were on back order and apologizing for delay. The same day I wrote back asking why I hadn't been notified of the delay sooner and when I could anticipate delivery - also why I had such difficulty in contacting them by phone. Today is 11/22/05 and I have received no response. However, my credit card account was debited for this order on 11/01/05. I'm sure you'll understand why my responses to your survey are so negative. I look forward to receiving my order ASAP - I hope you will be able to help in that regard.
