Given all the bad press I'd read about Beach Camera and their sister company Buy Dig, I was hesitant to shop with them.  Peppered amongst all the poor reviews, some good ones stood out.  I figured I'd take a chance.  I'm glad I did.  From start to finish, the entire process went well.  Their price was the best offered from a Garmin authorized reseller and their customer service was professional.  Prior to beginning my online search, I contacted Garmin directly to get all the specifics about the GPS of interest.  Armed with new-found knowledge, I contacted a few online retailers (some authorized, some not) before calling Beach Camera.  I asked a leading question regarding additional equipment for the Garmin Nuvi 775T.  Of the retailers contacted, only Adam of Beach Camera said "every thing you need is in the box, so there's no reason to buy more."  He even gave me his direct number to call if I had any problems.  My order was processed promptly, shipped out the next day, and my GPS arrived in four days--well before the estimated delivery date.  The only disconnect was I was told I'd have to sign for the package, but when I inquired with FedEx, they were not given "signature needed" instructions from Beach Camera.  My advice to anyone shopping online (or at a local store) is: 1) DO YOUR HOMEWORK.  Know your product before you buy, so you don't get sold something you don't need.  2) Go to the product manufacturer and look for a list of their authorized resellers (that's important for rebate and warranty).  Some will tell you they are authorized resellers, when in fact, they are not.  3) Read reviews about the merchant you might buy from.  Reviews can be telling--good and bad.  4)  Read all the terms and conditions for that reseller.  5) Go with your gut.  If someone answers the phone and doesn't announce who they are and the company name, be alert.  If they are cryptic, not willing to discuss specifics about the product, are pushy, or rude--buyer beware.  I hope this review will be of help to someone, I know they are invaluable to me.
