AreYouGame.com is one of my favorite shopping sites for kids games and toys, for several reasons:

First, selection; second, service; third, price.

Selection
AreYouGame's selection is what sold me on the site - it's that good. You can search by age, of course, but this is one site that really got it right. I'm very impressed with the site's categorization - the age recommendations seem right on, and the ranges are fairly short, so you don't have to wade through a bunch of items that too "old" or too "young" for your intended recipient.

Site Design & Use
The site is VERY user-friendly. The design is easy to navigate, and even on pages with lots of text, it's all easy to read, making searching for a particular item easy.

The check-out process is straightforward, and it's not cluttered with any "free newsletter" or "related deals" boxes that tend to slow the transaction and pack your in-box with unwanted "partner" e-mails.

Service
Recently, I ordered Kids On Stage (a charades game) for my three-year-old. When it arrived (about four days after I ordered with standard shipping) the game cards were missing! I e-mailed customer service, got a response in less than 24 hours saying that a new game would be shipped. Two days later, it was on my doorstep. A whole new game! No questions asked! Talk about the right way to respond! Now I'm an even bigger fan of the site, obviously.

Price
Right on par with the national leaders (Amazon, Target, Wal*Mart) and for several items, I've found the best price at AreYouGame. Rarely has that price difference made up for Amazon's free shipping (on orders over $50), but if you just want one item, why buy $50 worth of merchandise, right? PLUS, AreYouGame.com has a lot of items that are not available at the other sites. Shipping is more than a few bucks, but it seems fair and reasonable; it certainly doesn't seem like AreYouGame is trying to make "shipping and handling" a profit center for the company.

What I wish it had: reviews or ratings from game users!

Bottom line: HIGHLY recommended.
