Item was back-ordered. Adorama sent me a notice about that status right away. After a week or so, a very fair amount of time, they notified me that they still hadn't received it from the mfr. and gave me the chance to opt out, which I did. They removed the hold on my funds very promptly. So, given that I didn't receive the item, their customer service was nevertheless superb.

The experience purchasing a San Disk, 4 GB, flash drive from Adorama on-line was very good --Their pricing was on target and the shipping cost were reasonable. communication with Adorama staff was easy and they replied quickly. Unlike Adorama many companies that market on-line are unreachable once you order. I received the 4gb flash, exactly what I had ordered, and the order included all of the promised components. The flash drive that I ordered came on time. I was well informed by Adorama about my shipment (they gave me a tracking link so that I knew exactly what was going on) and was able to track my package each step of the way. The package arrived in very good condition and had both the drive and software needed. I was very satisfied with the ordering process and with the follow up on the part of Adorama staff. The San Disk, Cruzer, Titanium flash drive works perfectly is very easy to use. The overall experience with Adorama was an excellent one. The bottom line is that I would encourage others to buy from Adorama. Thanks for your help. RMohr

Customer service and order tracking are terrible. When I completed the order online all items showed as in-stock. The online status after the order was placed kept saying pending. I had to call twice, both times told to call during regular hours even though it was 9:30 on a weekday. I was put on hold both times. The first time I called there was confusion, first as to which item was out of stock. She finally agreed to ship the 3 in-stock items the next day, but after several days the order was still showing as pending. I called again, and was told that the oos itm was in stock, and the 3 others were oos. She put me on hold and then told me 3 items were in stock and the other was in stock at the manufacturer and would be drop-shipped. Then in the same conversation she told me that the hang-up seemed to be the credit card authorization, which she put through while I was on the phone and all was ok. The order shipped out and was received a few days later. I'd still be waiting if I hadn't called twice. They need to improve customer service and put better tracking information online. Their prices are as good as B&H, but they have a long way to go before they catch up to B&H order efficiency and customer service.

Adormama cancelled my first order for a Hasselblad lens, so I place another one to find later that they had already dispatched the items included in the first (an apparently cancelled order). Moreover, in this order they wrote my address as "Bogota, Bolivia" when it is Bogota, Colombia as any less than instructed person should know. In the customs form they did not indicatee that this a USED item, so I had to pay taxes on it.
I am waiting to see how they can solve all this gib problem, created only by THEMSELVES and their red tape.

Half of my order shipped on time the other half was backordered even though the items i purchased said they were in stock at that time. If i knew that it was going to take as long to get my items I would have just ordered them on Ebay. In fact because my item said it was backordered and not shipped i purchased half my order again on ebay and received those products before these.
In addition I received an email from them the day after the purchase that said my credit card was declined and they wanted me to email them another card number and not go through the website.

They had everything i was looking for a few clicks and entering my credit card info and 3 or 4 days latter i had my order.
This is how it is supposed to work i even e-mailed them a few questions about taxs etc and they replied right away and explained everything to my satisfaction to be honest i won't buy camera gear anywhere else from now on!!
