INCOMPETENT AND DISHONEST: I ordered a case for a tripod (which they sell), the salesman on the phone recommended a particular one. When it arrived it was way too small for my tripod. I called customer service, they kindly sent me a prepaid mailing label for return of the case. Next, instead of handling my problem directly, they connected me with the salesman's voicemail. I left a polite message stating that the first case didn't fit and after searching their website (which was pretty difficult) I found that they sell a case made especially for my tripod by it's manufacturer! I asked for him to return my call, but after three business days my call was not returned. As I still wanted the correct case, I called the main order line and talked to a different salesman. After explaining everything to him he told me to just send back the first case for a refund and do a separate order with him for the new case. I asked if this case was
currently in stock, he said they had
one left. I paid him over the phone for the new case. The following day I received an e-mail from customer service saying the case was on
back order and would be sent in about two weeks. Ridiculous, customer service can't resolve simple problems, the first salesman doesn't know (or maybe just doesn't care) which case would work, and the second salesman lied about availability. I won't shop with Adorama again!
