I ordered an 'Emer Botticelli' canister vacuum cleaner from 'Abes', after doing extensive research to find the vacuum that would best suit my needs. After receiving the Order Confirmation, I assumed everything was proceeding as expected. 2 weeks later, I called to find out my order status. I was told that because I live in Guam, a US Territory, I must send a wire-transfer before the order will be processed. I did that, at an additional cost of $25.00. 'Abes' confirmed receipt of the WT and said the vacuum would be sent within the next 48 hours. 20 days passed. I called last night to check the status and was informed that 'Abes' is out of that particular vacuum and that my money "will be refunded". I was told that I can choose another vacuum, if I prefer. The stock is depleted, NOTHING meeting my requirements.
Why did they not call me? How could they not know they didn't have anything in stock? Why can I not send them an e-mail? Why is the e-mail address given to send the WT no longer valid? Why, after 20 days of holding my cash, have they made no efforts to contact me to discuss options? Beyond 'terrible' customer service, I feel they have NO customer service!
I am disgusted, sickened, and exhausted by what I have had to go through to try to get some resolution to this situation. I have done everything they have asked. They have done NOTHING but frustrate me. I don't want the money. I WANT THE VACUUM CLEANER!!!
