I ordered a replacement lamp for my TV through A Matter Of Fax on Tuesday 8/18. I received the confirmation back from them and the money was taken out of my account. I eagerly awaited the tracking information (it said 24-48 hours), but none came that week. I emailed customer service asking about this, and received back a canned response to please allow 24-48 hours to process the order. By then, it had been 120 hours with no response. So, I called customer service on Monday the 25th to inquire about this and was told the she had "spoken to her shipping manager" and he said the item would be shipped that evening or Tuesday AM and he would expedite delivery. WRONG! It is now the 28th, and I get an email that the package is being shipped today (4pm this afternoon!!!) via UPS ground...which can mean 3 to 5 business days...and throw into the mix a holiday. Looks like it may be end of next week before they actually deliver. The savings over other sites is just not worth the delays and issues.
At least the customer service people I talked to were unpleasant and very short. Don't order from here if you expect a professional experience with nice customer service personnel who treat you like the customer.
