Got the Toshiba XA1 HD DVD player when they dropped their price to under $400 for brand new unit. After a little care from Toshiba warranty to align the DVD drive, it works absolutely great.It's built like a $2K high end component. 6 cents shipping for a quite a heavy player. Received it double packed two days later. Great Experience!

We purchased a 32" LCD TV and a HDD VHS recorder from 6th Ave. Their website is quick and easy to navigate. I ordered 4 days before Christmas and received the order Christmas Eve! It was very well packed and received in perfect condition. We are extremely pleased with quality and price from 6th Ave Electronics. We will certainly buy from them again!

My WORST online buying experience. I found their customer service to be unsympathetic and unresponsive. They charged me shipping for a package anyone in their right mind would refuse. I purchased an AV receiver from 6ave.com on 2/2 and it was delivered to my home without my signature. The corners of the box were open, packing materials were coming out, the side of the box was bowing due to water damage (still wet), and sand covered the box. Once in DHLs hands, 6ave would not send out a new receiver until the original was received. I never heard from 6ave again, even after they received the shipment. I mailed a letter detailing my experience to the corporate office and received a reply from their Director of Operations, apologizing for my experience, stating that I would have a resolution by weeks end. This was almost 3 weeks ago, no response. Only after I checked my credit card did I see that I received a PARTIAL refund. Overall buying from 6ave has been a horrible experience.

Absolutely the worst in many years of on line service.
Wanted to exchange the phone ordered since it didn't have the right voice mail system. The Panasonic cost with shipping was $29.06. Was told it would be $4.35 restocking fee, plus $22.44 return shipping - virtually the original price. That's usury and appalling business practice. The customer service representatives were rude and unhelpful. |

We went online and purchased the Hitachi 65F59 from 6th Ave. Easy and painless transaction. And, what a fantastic TV. "Super" huge screen size, great sound and wonderful picture! 6th Ave had 6 cents shipping, can't beat that! Of course when you are paying that little for shipping, there is always a little bit of worry in the back of your mind. Well, that was some needless worry! I got it within a week! 6th Ave emailed me immediately when it was shipped and told me who the shipping company would be along with contact #'s. I have got to tell you, ICAT Logistic's get's an A+ for service and delivery. Customer service at ICAT walked me through every step of the delivery process and took away any worry I had about having such a large item delivered to my home. Nicole at ICAT...thanks! Items listed as "In Stock" are not! Waited 5 days for delivery- no show. Tried on-line order tracking; page says under construction. Had to call by telephone, to be told they are still waiting for product arrival so they can ship ? tomorrow ? My item showing at this moment as "In Stock"---B.S. Poor customer service and a don't care attitude.

I decided to purchase from 6th Ave Electronics because they are an authorized dealer of Denon products. I figured that if they were an authorized dealer that my experience would be a good one, but I was wrong. I placed my order on January 24, 07 and paid an extra $100.00 to have it 2nd day air to my house. On their website it stated that they ship 5-7 business days of ordering.. they shipped on Feb. 5, 07 (8 days later). Then they shipped it ground on but had charged my credit card for the extra $100.00 in shipping on January 24th. My product will not arrive until Feb. 12, 07. I called and spoke to Ray and he said they will credit back the $100.00 in 3-5 business.
All I can say is that if you purchase from this company don't expect your product quickly and really watch what they are charging you. |

I ordered Panasonic 42" Plasma on January 1st. They process the order in 2 business days and shipped promptly.Before shipping they called me and confirmed about the product I ordered. I got the TV in good condition in 1 week(I live in Minnesota). Only negative is there is no tracking for the shipment.

One of the worst online shopping experiences I've had. Company stated that my credit card address did not match and stated that in order for me to complete my order I had to fax in proof of my address or provide them my credit card company's phone number for verification. They may have the lowest price, but I would recommend dealing with another company. Customer service was of little help either - they were unable to provide an email confirming my cancelation. I've been shopping online for years and never had anything like this occur before.

After reading many of the reviews here I decided that I was going to be sure and give my input after I ordered from 6 Ave Electronics.
I ordered a 42" plasma TV by phone and they were very friendly (tried to sell me warranties and cords, but I assume that's normal). They had the item in stock and could get it out to me soon. Within a few days I was contacted by phone to set up a delivery date and time. It took about 7 days for delivery (to Seattle), which I thought was very good. The TV arrived in perfect condition and I've been enjoying it ever since. I remember reading other reviews which were scathing, but my experience with 6 Ave was flawless. |

Truly disgusting experience,very sorry I got involved with this company. They told me products were in stock, but they weren't, I'm still waiting, and it's now been a few weeks. Not to mention, should have seen them in 5 days. I even received an e mail that said my order was being shipped. It didn't go out, possibly still hasn't. I'm on the phone again with them now. 2.5 weeks after I ordered.
In addition, they are rude. Obviously no a very small business, as I get the same people when I call. I also never heard from the managers, or complaint department. OH GET THIS! I am now on the phone with them-this order has not gone out, they don't even have the product yet. I highly suggest, that even if the prices look good, get it some where a bit higher and get your purchase hassle free. Now a manger says, he spoke to me the day before-I never got to speak to him??? He says, he'll get my order shipped out for today (2days Later)and he'll call me to confirm it goes out. I call, as I hear nothing, get voice mail, and no call, |

Never use these guys to purchase a TV larger than 20". They will not exchange a defective set and so you're forced to use the manufacturer. This is a huge inconvenience and something other sites wouldn't even consider doing to their costumers. Won't even consider using them again.

How easy was that. Best price on a Sharp 37" Aquos. Little leery ordering from a place in NJ to be shipped to Miami. Told me that I would have it by Tuesday (no charge for delivery)and was given a time frame from 1-5pm and at exactly 1 pm Tuesday the delivery truck arrived. So far so very good

I live probably less than 200 miles away, but due to their buggy website the item was delivered someplace else. Many calls to DHL and e-mails to 6th Avenue resulted in the item crossing to yet another state, then back again to another wrong address. They tried to blame me for putting in the wrong address - like I don't know where I live. The zip code I noticed is their default zip code. My billing address was correct, yet they altered the shipping address without my input, then said I did it. No focus on the problem, no attempt to ship out another item overnight to make up for the shipper's inability to change the address to the correct one. I am fed up with 6th Avenue and DHL. I will never use either again.

I've called customer service 5 times (spoken with Ray and Roger) to be told repeated lies that the item will ship "later today." At this point, I need to buy the items elsewhere because they will not arrive in time for my company holiday party. In short, this store stinks.

From the perspective of providing the products I wanted for the price I wanted, I was pleased with 6th Avenue Electronics. I also appreciated the 6 cents shipping. The DVD player arrived very quickly and the only problem really isn't related to 6th Avenue. The remote control didn't work, so I returned the product to Coby Electronics.

I purchased a TV which was listed as an "In Stock" item, with shipping time usually being within 5 to 7 days or so it said. After about 5 days I went to their site to see if I could check the status for delivery but that part of the site is "under construction". I then e-mailed them but after several days with no response I called. I was told my TV was sold out at the warehouse and would have to be gotten from one of their retail stores. 18 days after making my purchase I got my shipment and too late to watch the games with my company on Thanksgiving. There was never an attempt on their part to inform me of the delay or offer compensation. The delivery guy
said he was actually delivering it a day early. The TV seems fine but I would say the customer service leaves much to be desired. |

I really enjoyed my experience with 6th Avenue Electronics Online Store. I was shopping for a Canon digital camera and 6th Avenue gave me the best price I could find on this model. This is an upgrade to a previous model because it has image stabilization. The ordering process was easy.
The camera was at my home with a few days and I was so happy with my purchase!! Thanks 6th Avenue Electronics!! Now I can take lots of photos of my growing toddlers!! GREAT EXPERIENCE!! I would shop again . . . |

Awesome prices. The speaker I got was half the cost anywhere else and it was brand new not refurbished. They are also an authorized reseller so I was able to register my product so I would have a warranty unlike vendors on E-bay. Thanks again 6Ave.com and fast 6 cents shipping. After placing the order I had to call to verify my shipping address (b/c different from billing), and had no problems and no hazzles with their phone rep. And to my surprise, I received the box in 3 business days. Great service, I'm very happy, will shop again. |
