Awful, worthless, depressing experience!

I received a tulip arrangement for Mother's Day on Friday afternoon. They arrived in a box by UPS, when I opened the box, the leaves were yellow, the flowers were curved trying to get to some light. Before I could get them in the vase, 3 blooms fell off their stem. They wouldn't stand up in the vase (All directions were followed exactly). By Saturday afternoon, several more blooms had off and what remained didn't look like they would stay on much longer and the blooms were shriveling. They looked so bad I threw them away. I decided to wash the vase and it fell apart - 2 parts glued together. I wouldn't buy from this company if it was the only florist in the world. I think the flowers had been held in cold storage for too long. I can't image how anyone could believe fresh flowers could arrive across the country (even in 1 day) and look presentable - Martha Stewart needs to rethink this concept. I have nothing good to say about this experience; I thanked my son for the gift, but what was ordered was not what I received, nor what he had paid for (listed for $70)
