The HeatTrak Heated Rubber Stair Treads consist of an electric heating element sandwiched between two pieces of reinforced, slip-free rubber. The sides have grommet holes so the treads can be mounted to almost any surface. Up to 10 treads can be connected in one group (depending upon their size) and they include a 6 foot power cord. The HeatTrak Heated Rubber Stair Treads can melt up to two inches of snow in an hour and cost as little as 60 cents per day to run. This product will certainly benefit you throughout the winter season as it takes away the back straining job of shoveling, costs much less than embedded systems, and will not corrode your steps like salt and other chemicals.
